NIFTY stands for Natural Investigations for Toddler Years. Much like unit blocks, there is an integrity in the way the pieces relate and interrelate mathematically. Although it was created to be used successfully by the youngest toddler, NIFTYsystem has so many open-ended investigative and manipulative possibilities that it is intriguing to all ages. There are no rules, no right way to interact with these safe, large-scale manipulatives. Children are free to explore in their own way – naturally! For children ages 12 months and up.

• FINE MOTOR & HAND-EYE COORDINATION: Large, chunky columns are easy for little hands to grasp, hold, and place in the board; developing crucial skills through play. The holes are loose enough for a no- fail fit, but tight enough to hold the columns in place for successful independent interactions.
